I'm ten weeks pregnant! I was so ill during the awards because I was at the peak of pregnancy nausea during those weeks just before, during and after. Now I'm starting to feel a bit better, but still have nausea throughout the day. Just worse in the evenings and tolerable during the day. I can't believe how many naps I need! I'm exhausted!
Anyhow, I haven't shared this info on FB yet because I'm waiting for the baby's father to tell his family first, so please don't mention anything on my wall yet! lol But I really wanted to share the news with you all.
So funny, after I told my ten year old daughter I was pregnant, she first asked who the father was. (It's my husband's baby, even though we are separated, we had a rendezvous that ended in an accident, and the morning after pill didn't take care of it, clearly.) I told her the baby's dad was Cody and then she seemed to think it over for awhile. Then she said: "But Mom, WHEN did you have sex with CODY?!" LOL
I am so blessed that my kids feel comfortable enough with me to say anything.
Other funny things my kids said:
Sophia: Maybe the reason your boobs have been sore is because you're pregnant!
Me: That's right! They're sore because they're growing.
Sophia: Maybe mine are growing too, because they're sore all the time!

Austin (5 years old), is looking at my breasts as I change after hearing the above conversation. I have a bra on. I look at him and say: "Want to see?" "Yes," he says. So I lift my bra to show him my ever burgeoning breasts, and he says: "Wow, they ARE bigger!"
I love my kids.
