You are so welcome my dear! Put it to good use that's what it's for! :o)
Not that I recommend it and I know nothing of your break but I danced on a broken foot in Macau for 2 months. It didn't help the situation AT ALL, but I survived. I would start early before my work shift and tape it and take lots of anti-inflammatory meds, use anti-inflammatory cream and take pain killers just to get my boots on. Mine was a hairline fracture on the outer edge of my right foot so it was "easy" to tape it. When the 2 months were over, I had to rest it for an additional 6 weeks to heal it properly which I was happy to do on the beaches of Hawaii, LOL.
Are you able to take your cast off? You may want to consider DMSO too. I am a HUGE fan of it but it is VERY potent and needs to be respected or it can cause a lot of problems for you. I hesitate to even mention it on a public forum. Please use your best judgment with it. It is an extremely potent carrier molecule that is rapidly absorbed through your skin. It can speed up your healing time, reduce your pain, etc. but the skin area that you apply it to must be kept impeccably clean and free of other products. You have to be careful what it is stored in as well because it can pick up metals, etc and then carry it into your skin with it. Whatever it is mixed with (intentionally or not) will get absorbed along with it. I made the mistake of using it under the tape one night in Macau and it took the adhesive into my skin and later that night when I took the tape off, it took layers of skin along with it. Of course, I then got an infection and had to deal with that too.
It has a nasty little odor that it gives you too, kind of garlicky. It is sulpher based and related to glucosamine and MSM, products we often use for anti-inflammatory properties that are commercially approved. Anyways...Google it. You'll find tons of info on it and tons of controversy too. I believe it is largely illegal because it is hard to harness it's potency but it can do amazing things. Vets have been using it for years. Another time I used it when I was drunk and fell off the pole and broke 2 ribs too. I was back to work in 3 days. I wasn't 100% but I was making money again at least. In Macau, I only lost 3 days with my foot too.
Good luck!!! Heal fast!
