Myself I am not in good physical shape. So I am very envious of anyone who is willing to get back into the whole heavy exertion/pole dancing business.
I wonder if an increased pole dance workout routine. combined with something like aerobics and pilates might help you feel better about your appearance.
Have you talked to your kids about you going back to dancing ? I note on the home page of this site that you stopped dancing in 2001 in order to spend more time with yhour family, in part at least
Your smile is obviously the prettiest part of the female body. A frown will make me shudder and wonder "what did I do wrong this time, and how many nights on the couch are in my future- lol"
I'm actually in pretty good shape right now. I've continued exercising through my illness and now that I'm better I've lost the bit of weight I had and my stomach is actually quite small. It's just the skin that's the problem! It's not even that bad, but not good enough for the stage, I don't think. Who knows though. Maybe my skin will tighten?? Can that happen from a healthy diet? lol
I stopped dancing in 2004, so it's been almost six years! Crazy! But I actually heard a few girls from my era are getting back into dancing. Must be the economic downturn. ;)
