Re-Framing Porn Screening Night

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

THE NEW FACE OF PORN: RADICAL REPRESENTATION IN FILM
Re-Framing Porn Screening Night

TORONTO - Tired of porn that gives lip-service to diversity? The University of Toronto Sexual Education Centre and internationally renowned sexuality centre Good For Her have partnered to present a curated night of hot films that will show that diversity is sexy and inspire people to make their own porn. We’ve chosen our favourite clips from Feminist Porn Award submissions over the last ten years.

For the first time in this city, Torontonians will have the opportunity to see films where people of colour, people with disabilities, indigenous and/or trans people are prominently featured.   “This type of diversity is being showcased in a climate that is not taken seriously anywhere else,” said Carlyle Jansen, founder of Good For Her and the Feminist Porn Awards.  “There is a definite appetite among the porn viewing public to see sexy films that represent the diverse, mainstream society in which we live.”
