Chaps Project Seeking Men Who Buy Sex from Men
The CHAPS (Community Health & HIV Assessment of Men Who Purchase and Sell Sex) Project aims to understand men's experiences with sexual health, HIV vulnerabilities, and access to care as both buyers (clients) and sellers, whether on the street, in bathouses and bars, or online in order to inform evidence-based policy and programs. The CHAPS project is open to self-identified men of any sexual orientation who buy or sell sex in the Metro Vancouver area.
GSHI (Gender and Sexual Health Initiative) and HUSTLE @ HIM have been successfully recruiting and conducting interviews, but are now seeking only participants who are purchasing sex. Are you buying sex in Vancouver? Do you know someone who is? We welcome you to spread the word about the CHAPS Project, and contact CHAPS if you would like to share your expertise!
Participants will receive an honourarium for their time.
